In today's episode I have the privilege of interviewing the epic and most talented winemaker, David Grega! David grew up in Sacramento, CA and was a Combat Veteran during the Iraqi war.
In 2008, David decided to follow his dreams of becoming a winemaker and worked his first harvest in Napa Valley. David's had a tremendous amount of success in the wine industry and is very fortunate to work alongside Head Winemaker Jeff Ames.
Jeff and David make wine and act as wine consultants for 8 different clinets, most of which are some of the most influential cult brands in Napa Valley; brands such as Boich Family Cellars, Rudius Wines, and TOR Wines just to name a few.
In this episode David talks a lot about terroir and how he believes terroir is everything when it comes to making exceptional California wines such as his. David also talks about Rhone wines and his love and infatuation for Rhone wines, and how these wines have had such a magnificant influence on his career as a winemaker.
David of course talks about how important family is, especially his beautiful Fiance' who has always been a rock and a foundation not only for him as a winemaker, but also as a man.
