In today's episode, I'll explain to you the benefits of aerating wine and how aerating wine can really maximize your overall wine tasting experience.

With an aerator, oxygen is introduced to the wine through a venturi effect.  The purpose of this is to completely open up the wine so it can display everything it has to offer, but in a much quicker fashion.  This is a lot faster than if you would have simply poured the wine from the bottle into the glass.

The key thing to remember when aerating wine is an aerator is meant to speed up time.  Whether the bouquet you get on the nose, or the effects it has on your palate, an aerator will do wonders in magnifying all the anticipations you are feeling about that wine, and so much more.
